About Gena Nova
Gena Nova is the founder and creative maker behind GenaNova. Her practice brings together a lifelong connection to painting with digital design, technology and an entrepreneurial interest in how visual work can become part of contemporary life.
Rather than choosing between traditional art and new tools, she works across both. She values the individuality of a brushstroke as much as the possibilities of a screen—and believes innovation is most meaningful when it strengthens the emotional core of the work.
From material to possibility
Works often begin physically—with paint, texture, glass or canvas. Gena then continues the creative process through digital composition, movement, editing, code and carefully chosen new technologies. Sometimes the result is a still physical original. Sometimes it becomes a unique digital edition, a limited painterly world or a work designed to inhabit a particular space or screen.
This is not a fixed formula. Each idea is allowed to find the form in which it carries the most emotion, presence and meaning.
Craft, contrast and transformation
GenaNova’s visual language is shaped by individual brushwork, dramatic light, movement and psychological contrast. The works often explore the tension between darkness and light, stillness and change, vulnerability and strength. Classical influences meet a contemporary design sensibility: emotional, but composed; expressive, but purposeful.
Created for collection—and for context
GenaNova works are created for collectors, but they are also imagined in relation to the spaces and stories around them. A work may live quietly in a private interior, shape the atmosphere of a hotel or gallery, or retain its identity across an architectural-scale digital display.
Existing works can be acquired in available physical or digital forms. Selected bespoke artworks, art films and visual projects can be discussed for private, hospitality, cultural and commercial settings.
